Goods Returned to Sender

In cases where goods are returned to the sender, such as non-collection, incorrect address, refusal, or carrier error, no restocking fee will be applied. The shipping charges for your order will be refunded only if VetSupply or the carrier is responsible for non-delivery.

Change of Mind Returns

Change of mind returns will be subject to a 10% restocking fee, and the shipping portion of your order is non-refundable.

We understand that returning a product can be frustrating, but we are unable to accept returns for change of mind under the following circumstances:

  • The product has been removed from its original packaging.
  • Labels or seals on the product have been tampered with or removed.
  • The product has clear signs of use, damage, or is soiled.
  • The product contains food or medication.
  • The end customer received the product more than 14 days ago.

Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Any goods that are sent incorrectly or arrive damaged will be replaced at VetSupply's expense. We will uphold our warranty obligations as defined under Australian consumer law. Please contact us regarding any warranty claims, and we will arrange pickup and replacement of the product in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty conditions.

We cannot accept warranty returns for pet accessories that have been damaged by an animal unless a manufacturing fault can be identified with the product. Such claims will be forwarded to the product manufacturer for investigation before accepting a return or replacement.

Customers are responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning goods, except in cases where VetSupply has agreed to cover return postage costs due to an error on our part. Please note that VetSupply assumes no responsibility for loss or damage during the return transit.

Product refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Cancelling an Order

Please get in touch with us promptly if you need to cancel an order, as orders cannot be refunded once they have been dispatched from our warehouse.

Popantel is a widely used worm control oral treatment. Highly effective in treating various intestinal worms in canines, Popantel further prevents re-infestation. It kills and controls hookworms, roundworms, whipworms and tapeworms including Hydatid tapeworms. One tablet per 10 kg bodyweight of dog is standard and treats gastrointestinal worms in breeds of dogs.

How does it work?

This popular allwormer is developed with three active ingredients Praziquantel, Oxantel and Pyrantel Embonate. All the components work together to treat various gastrointestinal worms in dogs. The active components of Popantel paralysis the nervous system of parasites, and remove them from dog body naturally. This oral tab treats and further prevents worm infection in dogs. The regular treatment prevents re-infestation and keeps pets healthy.

  • Weigh your dog before starting treatment. 
  • According to body weight of your dog, treat him/her with appropriate sized tablet or combination of tablets.
  • Popantel is given orally in a single dose.
  • Place Popantel directly into the mouth or crush it and mix it with dog food.
  • Ensure your pet completes the whole meal for proper dosage.

Dosage

For Small and Medium Dogs – 10 kg

1.5 to 2.5 kg – ¼ tab

2.5 to 5 kg – ½ tab

5 to 10 kg – 1 tab

Over 10 kg – 1 tab per 10 kg and round off doses to nearest half tab

For Large Dogs – 40 kg

20 – 35 kg – 1 tab

35 – 52 kg – 1.5 tabs

25 – 70 kg – 2 tabs

70 – 87 kg – 2.5 tabs

Over 87 kg – 3 tabs

For roundworms and hookworms

For treating these worms, provide Popantel to puppies at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks, and continue the treatment once every 3 months.

For Hydatid tapeworms

To treat Hydatid tapeworms in dogs, treat with Popantel every 6 weeks. During this treatment, do not feed them with offal.

For Whipworms

Treat puppies every 6 to 8 weeks after 3 months of age.

For pregnant and lactating bitches

Administer Popantel at mating, before whelping and then continue at an interval of 3 months.

For other worms

Treat dogs with Popantel at an interval of 3 months regularly, which helps in protecting dogs from multiple intestinal infestations.

Q: My cavoodle has 1 nexgard spectra monthly, should I also give 3 monthly popantel canine allwormer also.?

A: Nexgard Spectra does not protect against tapeworms, whereas Popantel Allwormer does. So, you can use Popantel along with Nexgard Spectra for tapeworm protection. Consult with a vet before using them on your pet.

Q: How often do you have to administer? Monthly, quarterly?

A: The ideal dosage of Popantel for dogs is 1 tablet/10 kg bodyweight. The dosage should be rounded to the nearest ¼ tablet. For roundworms and hookworms, the dogs should be treated at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks of age and then every 3 months; for whipworms, it should be given every 6 to 8 weeks after 3 months of age; for hydatid tapeworms, treat every 6 weeks, and for other tapeworms, treat every 3 months and treat your canine regularly to control fleas.
